1. What we collect
- Account details: name, display / shop name and email address.
- For kid shops: the child's age, the guardian's name and email, guardian consent, and payout details for the guardian (or the choice to be paid through the Smart Bizlings account).
- Orders: buyer name and email, items ordered, and any payment screenshot uploaded as proof of a bank transfer.
- Technical: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and basic, anonymous visit counts for shop statistics.
2. What is shown publicly
Public pages only show a shop name, the Young Entrepreneur's age, the products and an optional shop picture. We never publish a child's real name, email, phone number, school or address. Shop descriptions that contain phone numbers, emails or links are blocked.
3. How we use information
- To run accounts, shops and orders, and to verify payments.
- To pay Young Entrepreneurs' earnings to their guardian (or hand them over in person when the Smart Bizlings account is used).
- To review listings and keep the marketplace safe.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Payment screenshots
Payment proofs are stored privately. They can only be viewed by the buyer who uploaded them and by our admin team.
5. Keeping data safe
The site uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are stored as secure hashes, and admin access is protected by separate sign-in.
6. Your choices
You can update your details in Account settings. A parent or guardian can ask us to correct or delete a child's account and data at any time through our Contact page.
